PERSONAL DATA AND WHAT WE USE IT FOR
GENERAL
Personal data is any information that can be attributed to you to some extent. When you use our website, apps and dashboards, we collect and process a number of items of such data. This takes place e.g. through cookies during ordinary access to content, subscription to our newsletter, submission of a contact form, participation in a competition or survey, registration as a user or subscriber, other use of services or if you make purchases via the website. We typically collect and process the following types of information: A unique ID and technical information relating to your computer, tablet or mobile phone, your IP address, geographical location, browser history and the pages you click on. To the extent you provide explicit consent, and enter the information yourself, we also process: Your name, telephone number, e-mail address, address and company/organisation, as well as other information you explicitly and voluntarily provide. This would typically be in connection with the submission of requests via contact forms, when downloading material we make available to you or when subscribing to our newsletter. The information we collect is stored and processed predominantly using Dantherm Intelligent Monitoring’s Cloud database system and Dantherms CRM system.

PURPOSE
The information is used to identify you as a user and to deliver the services you have requested, including to issue newsletters or respond to a request. We also use the information to optimize our services and content, including anonymized statistics and to display advertisements that we believe to have the greatest potential for being relevant to you on our websites and on the websites of our partners, e.g. as sponsored content on LinkedIn or in Google AdWords.

SECURITY
We have taken technical and organisational measures to prevent accidental or unlawful destruction, publishing, loss or degradation of your data, data from being disclosed to third parties, misused or otherwise processed in a manner that contravenes legislation. Retention period The information will be retained for the period permitted pursuant to legislation and we will delete data when it is no longer required. The retention period is dependent upon the nature of the information and the basis for storage. It is therefore not possible to provide a general timeframe for when data will be deleted. If you subscribe to our newsletter, we will store and process information about you for this purpose until you decide to unsubscribe from the newsletter. You have a right to find out which personal data we process about you. You can also object to the use of your data at any time. You may also withdraw your consent to our processing of your data.
